It was rather quiet in school this morning as both our junior and senior choirs were at St Peter’s Church to rehearse for the Carol Service on Friday at 2pm. It has been a long time since the choirs have been able to sing together. Children grow quickly, so a robe fitting will be required! The rehearsals earlier in the week in the drawing room sounded beautiful and we are really looking forward to the event.

Mme Shilliday opened her French café for breakfast to Form 5 on Tuesday morning. It has a been much anticipated treat and the children enjoyed baguettes, croissants and jam!

Form 1 and 2 have been getting crafty all week and children are enjoying the wonderful festive activities meticulously planned by their teachers.

A big thank you to Liz, our Head Gardner, who has been growing and potting hyacinths with the Nursery children. They will be coming home soon as gifts wrapped in hessian. Nursery have absolutely loved this garden project despite the cold weather!

Lastly, many of you know that my 11 year old beagle is the apple of my eye. Shayan and Mina now have their very own beagle puppy called Dexter. He looks absolutely gorgeous in the photos but they tell me he is very naughty!
