Yesterday, I met with our Class Representatives group for our regular catch-up in the drawing room. The Class Reps perform an important function in school, they provide a sounding board for new initiatives and help to ensure that everyone’s voice is heard. It was a useful meeting and thank you to Kerry for the lovely homemade shortbread.
Form 3 were excited to be off on their residential this morning. There was quite a lot of luggage to be squeezed into the extra minibus. First stop was the beach I believe, and lots of exciting activities are planned for the week including coasteering!
Tomorrow, we are looking forward to our Jubilee Cream Tea Party. Staff have been busy preparing for the event, and as I write, I can see Mrs Thorpe rehearsing the maypole dancing. The music is quite infectious!
