Today has certainly been colourful in school, with children supporting Red Nose Day. Our catering manager Kerry and her team created a special Red Nose themed lunch today with beautifully decorated cupcakes for us all to enjoy. I was impressed at the ingenuity of our parents when admiring the homemade ‘red noses’ as children came through the gates this morning! The staff did well too with some homemade red pom-pom’s sewn onto their face masks. The total raised in school so far for charity is £342. Thank you to everyone for their kind contributions and I hope you enjoy the photos.

Thank you also to our wonderful PTFA who organised the Easter egg hunt this week. Children enjoyed running around our school gardens looking for golf tees to swap for eggs! You may be wondering why this took place a little earlier than usual this year, but hopefully all will be revealed next week. Our Easter celebration was filmed on Tuesday and I will not spoil the surprise by going into more details right now.

Next week, is the last week of term before our Easter holiday. The weather is looking good for me to get in the garden tomorrow but whatever you are planning, I wish you a relaxing weekend.
