A key mission in school is to support learning on an individual basis, making sure that we have a clear mission for each child’s learning journey ahead. Much of our assessment is formative to make sure all our testing informs our planning and preparation.
Claire T spearheads this as the school’s SENCO though she is very ably supported by Mrs Looker and indeed all the learning assistants right across the school.
Support may take the form of 1:1 lessons or perhaps small group in class support.
We use a range of “tools of the trade” from kinaesthetic beads and counters to computer programs, Ipads, books and much more.
Mrs Sewed then oversees the process as our Academic Deputy.
