Well, we’ve certainly decked the halls with boughs of holly and Christmas is getting into full swing.
My hotline to our cinematographer tells me that our two Christmas spectaculars are nearing completion and will shortly be available for viewing – I think on Netflix. I’ll let you know when we’re ready to publish.
Despite the disappointment of not being able to share these services with you in public, the up side is that everyone will be able to watch the services including all those mums and dads who are normally at work and grandparents who don’t live nearby.
In the classroom, children have been exchanging their Secret Santa’s. Not to be outdone, our staff Secret Santa table is bulging under the weight and the staffroom resembles an overflow from a film set – which is has been of course.
Looking ahead to the rest of the week we have Christmas jumpers and Christmas lunch on Thursday and Christmas parties on Friday.
We’re going to try to relocate “Carols Under the Stairs” to “Carols under the Skies” as I can’t imagine a final week carolling without the little ones.
I also believe we have a very special guest visiting from the far north, courtesy of the PTFA.
I’ll finish with some lovely community news and the true spirit of Christmas. Heidi B has been making and selling Christmas cards from a “honesty table” outside her house with all proceeds going to support Key Workers in the NHS.
